I don't really have a song today. I think I need the "Mari Shell" to fill up my iPod with her obscure local tunes. I'm still surprised she didn't know about Friendly Fires or Department of Eagles. Oh well. Plus, we can't find her on facebook. So sketchy.


The Nordeast Music Festival was fun decidedly. At the same time, it was irritating. Who brings their kids to an event where 90% of the people there are definitely drinking? And let's not get started on the dancing at that DJ area. When did waving your arms around and twirling become dancing? And it wasn't the adorable way. It was an awkward event with not many sociable people and a bunch of "hip" twenty-something year olds. The only thing that made my night was skullets, the Ellis Island dudes, brats, Mari Shell, seeing an old pal, and hanging out with Ryan. Oh, and Haley Bonar.
