Cherish The Day by
Sade

Today, I saw the second half of "500 Days of Summer." Throughly, I was disappointed by this film. What made it worse was how much I was searching for the romantic elements.

"What is love," the whiny victim of unrequited love would ask. What pisses me off is that the same people asking why someone doesn't love them back doesn't care to acknowledge that their perception of love isn't necessarily the same view as their interest.

Love isn't all about the kisses, dates, and even the late-nite conversations. Love changes from family, friends, loves and activities. But it comes down to the same thing. It's about the work. How much do you really give? Do you help them out? Giving is about your presence, dedication, and respect. The signs of affection is a bonus. It doesn't matter if it's a car bumper sticker saying "I love my job" or 10 kisses after every meal. But the more people tighten up the definition of what love is, the more love will expand.
